Maltaaba Community Bank Limited is registered as a Public limited liability company in May 2003 under the companies code 1963 (ACT 179). The shareholders are both corporate institutions and individuals of the community and the Region as a whole.

It had its certificate to commence business on 24th April, 2009 and commenced banking business on 23rd April, 2009. The activities and operations of the Bank are supervised and monitored by ARB Apex Bank Limited and Bank of Ghana.

Maltaaba Community Bank Limited is fully networked and linked with One Hundred and Forty One (141) rural banks and their over Seven hundred (700) branches all over Ghana through ARB Apex Bank

The bank’s head office is located at Bongo in the Bongo District of the Upper East Region of Ghana.
